Courses at Straloch

We will soon be introducing a series of residential courses at Straloch on themes such as photography, yoga and creative writing with accommodation available in the main Straloch House (see below).

Day time activities take place in the purpose built Garden Studio. This glass-fronted wooden building has stunning views across the loch and down the glen - the perfect space for creative thinking or finding inner calm.

Straloch is also available as an exclusive venue for small executive management weekends. We can organise guided walks and picnics as part of your programme.

The Garden Studio is available to hire for events or classes. If you are interested in running a course at Straloch or hiring the Garden Studio please contact us

Upcoming Courses

We are currently working on our new programme of residential courses for 2020.

Straloch House

Straloch House was built in 1912, designed by two architects who trained under Sir Edwin Lutyens. The influence of the great English architect is apparent in the classical design of the house and the elegant architectural features of the interior.

A much loved family home, Straloch has a stunning location overlooking the loch with far reaching views down the glen.

There are four spacious and very comfortable double bedrooms available, each with its own bathroom. The Edwardian bathroom has a huge roll top bath with 6 taps and various water jets - the ultimate power shower of its era!

In the evenings course members convene in the drawing room for drinks in front of a crackling fire and then enjoy a three course dinner in the dining room. A convivial and relaxing way to unwind, discuss the day's activities and share ideas.

What people say?

...to be surrounded by beauty and have the luxury of such a high quality house was a special combination!
